Abstract
it is a prospective study. mucormycosis is a severe oportunistic infection of fungus mucoreles. cerebrorhinoorbital mucormycosis is most common and uncontrolled diabetes is the important risk factor. 10 cases were studied and 8 had orbital findings. slit lamp examination,VA, iop , ct scan and mri of orbit was done. temperature recording, urine exam, blood sugar estimation was done ans results were analysed. lid oedema, chemosis , periorbital pain, ptosis, proptosis were presenting symptoms. range of VA were pl-ve to 6/24. liposomal amphoteresin B, posaconazole tablets, were given. exenteration of orbit wnen required.
