Abstract

Purpose-Compare quantitative angle parameters of Gonioscopy with Pentacam in normal, PACD and POAG & Get a reference range of angle parameters to identify narrow angles.
Methods- Prospective observational study on 246 eyes of 123 of Normal, PACD, POAG subjects. Sussman 4 mirror Goniolens used to classify with Shaffer’s Grading system. Gonio angles were correlated with pentacam AC Angle(ACA) AC Depth(ACD) & AC Volume(ACV).
Results- Mean age 55.47±9.84, M:F of 1.6:1. % of PACD,POAG & normal are 50.41,10.6 & 39.0. Mean angle G PACD, POAG & normal are (5.4±3.33)0(28.27±4.68)0(28.91±3.12)0. Mean angle P (26.78±5.33) (35.22±8.6) (34.46±6.16)0. Mean ACV(mm³) (85.73±19.56)(135.42±51.74) (126.91±20.45). Mean ACDC(mm) (2.07±0.25) (2.73±0.53)(2.67± 0.25). Difference statistically significant. Compared to Angle G, ACDC, ACV & Angle P sensitivity 90.32%, 84.68 % &75.81%. Conclusion- ACD, ACDC, Angle P have predictive cut-off value106 mm³, 2.40mm, 30.45°respectively.
