Abstract
Purpose:To correlate the severity of the ocular manifestation with the disease activity and to study the response of ocular manifestation to topical and systemic therapy.MATERIALS AND METHOD:In this prospective study 16 patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis were included. Dry eye was most common manifestation seen in 34 percent of the study group.There was strong correlation between the dry eye severity and duration of the disease as well as RF positivity(p=0.026)other ocular manifestation seen were scleritis 2percent ,episcleritis 1percent anterior uveitis 1percent,secondary glaucoma 2 percent. CONCLUSION:Ocular manifestation are common in patients with RA.There is 40 percent of patients with RA have ocular manifestation among which dry eye was most common manifestation (90percent)
