Abstract
Retinopathy of prematurity is a fibrovascular proliferative disorder , which affects the developing peripheral retinal vasculature in premature infants. It is an avoidable cause of blindness. Screening is done for all babies having gestational age less than 35 weeks or having birth weight less than 1800 grams.
We describe a case of 3 year old male child who presented to ophthalmology department with visual acuity of following light in both eyes. The patient was further evaluated and fundus findings of retinopathy of prematurity associated with partial retinal detachment was appreciated.
