Abstract

Ocular surface squamous cell neoplasia(OSSN) is an infrequent diagnosis & whose clinical suspicion shouldn't be overlooked. Purpose-To report a single case of OSSN that occurred in a patient & its outcome whose complaints were mild in comparison to the severity of the disease. Method-History taken, slit lamp, BCVA at the time of presentation, IOP, AS-OCT, UBM, histopathology. Routine follow up done on post op day1, at 4thwk., & at 8thwk. Result-Patient was presented with mild discomfort and painless persistent hyperemia in his left eye. Slit lamp showed a clear diagnosis and lesions extent was evaluated through multimodal imaging. Surgical excision by no touch technique with 2mm margin done and sent for histopathology examination. After surgical excision the patient underwent topical ocular treatment with mitomycin C for a higher margin of safety even before the pathology results were available. Conclusion-This patient was currently disease free and maintain 6/9 BCVA at last follow up
