Abstract
AIM:Study of a case beyond age(resolves by 6-7years) & sex(3:1 female:male).METHODS:13 year old male with 4x3cm soft compressible ill-defined gradually progressive swelling over right orbital margin & upper lid, since 2years of age, with recent nodulocystic eruptions & bleeding from the lesion. Similar past history in nose with epistaxis. No significant family history. INVESTIGATION:Ocular- best corrected visual acuity 6/6(P) RE, 6/6 LE; normal extraocular movements,conjunctiva normal, cornea clear, anterior chamber formed, pupils normal in size, shape, reaction in both eyes; intraocular pressure(AT)-22mmHg RE & 17mmHg LE; retina- deep cup with 0.7:1cdr & dilated vessels in both eyes; ultrasound and CT of orbit & nose-hyperdense soft tissue with multiple feeding vessels. Systemic- history of severe anemia with blood transfusion; normal ultrasound of abdomen-pelvis & MRI of brain. RESULT:Oral Tab.Propranolol(20) twice daily after food; eye drop Timolol(0.5%) twice daily for glaucoma.
