Abstract
A 6year old boy presented with blurring of vision in right eye since 3days.Best corrected visual acuity in right eye was 20/80 and left eye was 20/20. Slit lamp biomicroscopy showed right eye anterior chamber 4+ cells, flare and left eye anterior segment within normal limits. Fundus examination of right eye showed normal optic disc with 0.3:1 cup disc ratio, yellowish white patch measuring 1/4th DD along inferior arcade with sub retinal fluid s/o retinitis. Fundus examination of left eye showed normal optic disc with 0.3:1 cup disc ratio and normal foveal reflex. He had history of fever associated with diarrhoea 7days back and tested positive on widal. He was started on oral steroids tapering over 5days.On day 14 follow up Sub retinal fluid had resolved.
