Advancements in technology have revolutionised the healthcare industry, and one area in particular is automation with AI backed virtual assistants like google, Alexa and Siri. The integration of voice control technology has emerged as a promising solution to enhance efficiency and reduce contamination risks. This abstract presents a comprehensive overview of a fully voice-controlled operation theatre and equipment, exploring its potential benefits, challenges, and future prospects.This enable surgeons and assistants to interact with various equipment and systems using voice commands thereby minimising disruptions during critical surgical steps and reducing the reliance on support staff.The key benefits are numerous. It streamlines and automates the illumination of the OT and microscope to surgeon’s choice ,controlling the parameters in a phaco machine during surgery, recording and live streaming surgery thereby enabling a seamless surgical experience.
