Abstract

To share a difficult case of EYE PAIN that went on a hospital spree!
Detailed History, Clinical Examination, Complete Dry Eye Workup, Blood Investigations
A 22-year-old male presented with pain in both eyes for 5 years, which recently made it difficult for him to work on screen continuously for longer than 15 minutes on mobile and 1 hour on laptop. The patient had been on a hospital spree continuously for these 5 years to find a sigh of relief. He visited many Ophthalmologists, a Neurologist, a Psychiatrist, a Medicine specialist, and even a Dermatologist to find any associated condition with his difficulty. He underwent ample Blood investigations, along with Autoimmune IFA, Dry Eye Workup (including LipiView), MRI Brain. He has been on a number of medications, irregularly, including Nortriptyline, Gabapentin, Duloxetine, Propranolol tablets, Cyclosporine and various Lubricant drops.
