Abstract

cross sectional study among 50 patients attending tertiary care centre.to analyse case of pseudoexfolaition syndrome it's association with intraocular pressure, spectrum of ocular manifestation and intraop complications. data was collected using detailed proforma through personal interview and details examination with snellen visual acuity,slit lamp examination, fundus examination, gonioscopy and intraocular pressure measurement with Goldman applanation tonometry. small pupillary diameter and zonular weakness should be addressed adequately.PXF can cause poor pupillary dilatation, zonular weakness, causing lens dislocation, vitreous loss,post operative iop spikes, glaucomatous damage and prolonged post operative inflammation.PEX causes challenges intraop ,post op and needs strict monitoring.
