Abstract

Submarine Chop is a Technique to divide hard brown cataracts into fragments without making any Trenches.
Purpose: Purpose is to find out its safety and efficacy.
Methods : 30 cases were studied. Preoperative and Postoperative specular microscopy were compared and Slit lamp examination findings were recorded.
Results : Corneal clarity, Anterior chamber cells and flare were noted.
Conclusion: Submarine Chop appears a safe Technique. Efficacy was excellent.
