Abstract
Synopsis:
A 20 year old male, who used to work as carpenter without wearing protective glasses, presented with complaints of gradual decrease of vision in Left eye since 3 months.
He did not give any known history of trauma to eye.
Due to his corneal scar, iris synechiae, traumatic cataract, he was evaluated with b scan, X ray orbit and CT scan orbit. It revealed retinal detachment and intraocular foreign body [IOFB] behind the mature cataract.
As the eye had potential for vision, he was posted for cataract surgery along with BB+TPPV+IOFB REMOVAL+RETINECTOMY+FAE+EL+SOI under gvp under MAC.
My video will be dealing with surgical procedure and its outcome.
