Abstract
This video film describes and differentiates the five commonly seen tumors of the choroid.
A detailed ophthalmic evaluation including fundus examination was performed in all, followed by multi-modal imaging – ultra-widefield photography, ultrasound B-scan, fundus fluorescein and indocyanine green angiography, optical coherence tomography (OCT) and OCT-angiography were performed, and triaged systemic evaluation as appropriate.
In this video we highlight the typical clinical morphology and imaging characteristics of benign and malignant lesions of the choroid and their secondary effects. This forms a crucial component in the stepwise approach to the diagnosis and management of a choroidal mass.
