Abstract
We present a case of 55-year-old male who presented with diminutionof vision in right eye since 1 week. The patient did not give history of any apparent ocular or head injury. Best corrected visual acuity (BCVA) was hand movements in right eye and 20/20 in left eye. Slit lamp examination of right eye showed a depigmented lesion with small subconjunctival hemorrhage temporally at 9 clock hours, cataractous lens with anterior chamber reaction and a fibrinous membrane at pupil. Right eye fundus showed vitreous hemorrhage. Ultrasound B scan showed total retinal detachment with choroidal detachment. Left eye ocular examination was unremarkable.Intraocular pressure was 03 mmHg and 12 mmHg in the right eye and left eye, respectively.Anterior segment optical coherence tomography through the lesion showed a full thickness scleral defect with vitreous incarceration with intact overlying conjunctiva. Ultrasound biomicroscopy (UBM) confirmed the scleral defect.
