Abstract

The beginer Phaco surgeon percieves phacoemulsification as a difficult cataract surgery. This video is the reult of years understanding the difficulties faced by fellows during learning phacoemulsification and describes the small modifications in the steps to create ergonomically positioned and self sealing main and side ports, achieve perfect capsulorrhexis, hydroprocedures, nucleus management, irrigation and aspiration and iol implantation. Making non leaking wound closure to avoid endophthalmitis is emphasised.
