Abstract
68 year female on post operative 2month presented with fungal ulcer.She was started on Hourly topical antifungal (E/d Natamycin and Voriconazole), Oral antifungals and cycloplegics. Subsequent worsening was noted in the next 2 days. AS OCT- showed early interface involvement. Tissue adhesive with BCL application was done and she was given intra stromal amphotericin B injection in OR. Given the peripheral limbal involvement and worsening of infiltrate therapeutic keratoplasty was planned.
Intraoperatively- Superio-temporal scleral involvement and Interface involvement were noted.
Histopathology of Half corneal button and DSAEK lenticule showed features consistent with Fungal keratitis
Post therapeutic keratoplasty patient was doing well, on POP 2 weeks- topical steroids were started, and no recurrence was noted
